Oldham coupling CPG

The CPG Oldham coupling is a specially developed cross-slider coupling which was developed specifically for servo motors. It connects the motor part and the encoder part in the servo motor.
By using the Oldham coupling, the encoder is interchangeable. With a fixed initialization, the position can be retained after the encoder has been replaced. This function is ideal for repairing medium/large servo motors on site, as the encoder can be replaced without removing the motor.
The Oldham coupling’s resin slider prevents the temperature rise caused by coil heat generation from being transferred to the encoder side, preventing encoder malfunction.
The CPG compensates for misalignment of the motor and encoder shaft to ensure high-precision positioning via the encoder. It is also characterized by low hysteresis loss and excellent durability.
